LITTLE BIG HORN RE-ENACTMENT

This re enactment is held on Crow Indian Reservation land owned by Real Bird grandson of Medicine Tail whom the Medicine Tail Coulee is named. The re enactment is held on the site of Medicine Tail ford - the site of the Sans Arc lodges where Capt Yates batallion descended down Medicine Tail Coulee to the ford and was met by a small number of Indians. The Indians quickly rallied and chased Yates up the ravine and thus began the beginning of the end for Custer and his command of 210 men
